Our Principal

Ana Arias, Ed.D

Ana Arias was born and raised in Fallbrook, where her family has deep roots dating back to her grandfather’s move to the community through the Bracero Program. Dr. Arias was the first in her family to attend college, earning both her Bachelor’s and Doctorate degrees from the University of California, San Diego. She has continued this legacy with her children graduating from UC Davis and CSU Fullerton, and her youngest currently attending MIT. Her teaching career began in 1996 with the Fallbrook Union Elementary School District as a classroom teacher, and she transitioned to an administrative role in 2019. Ana values her diverse background and takes pride in serving as a role model for the students in our community.

Note to the Community

Dear Fallbrook STEM Academy Community,

It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I write this letter as the Principal of Fallbrook STEM Academy (FSA), to begin the 2024-25 school year. I am honored to lead a school that empowers students to discover and develop their unique gifts and talents within an atmosphere of academic excellence, all with a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) focus.

Through the dedication and hard work of our students, teachers, parents, and staff, FSA has earned a well-deserved reputation for academic excellence. Our school provides a strong foundation, nurturing our students to become critical thinkers and problem-solvers. We take immense pride in creating student-centered learning environments that foster academic, social, and emotional growth. At Fallbrook STEM Academy, we celebrate diversity and individual differences through respect, inclusion, collaboration, and open communication.

As a leader in equity, I am deeply committed to acknowledging and embracing the diverse backgrounds of our students and families. We strive to ensure that every student feels valued and supported, recognizing that equity is essential for academic and personal success. Our focus extends beyond academics to encompass the whole child, promoting their social, emotional, and physical well-being. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where every student can thrive. Our authentic care for FSA families and students is a top priority, as we continue to build positive relationships and a strong sense of community. We recognize that family and community support is essential to our success. I encourage you to experience our school culture, which is focused on offering students a safe and supportive learning environment. Through active parent engagement, I hope to learn more about each of our FSA families.

I am looking forward to an incredible new school year filled with countless opportunities for our FSA students, staff, and families to thrive. I hope to meet each and every one of you and work together to make this year exceptional.

With warm regards,

Dr. Ana Arias, Principal
